Vintage White VS
Hello everyone, I'm pretty new here, but I'm trying to find some information about a White vibrating shuttle machine I bought a while back. I emailed Huscqavarna, who bought the White company back in the 50s, and they said they couldn't date it based on the machine number, but told me to add 5 years to the date of the latest patent date, and compare the flower on the face plate to others online. Doing the patent method it looks like my machine was made in roughly 1895.
Unfortunately the decal is terribly faded, and the decals don't match anything i find on the net.
I took pictures of the machine, instruction book (hopefully this will help others) and the vibrating shuttle. They're posted here: https://graveyarddaisies.wordpress.c...achine-photos/ . I didn't want to bog down the forum with a lot of pictures.
I'll be restoring it as best I can, so far everything seems to move well, it just needs some oil and deep cleaning, and the veneer needs some help.

Very nice. Katie at [email protected] has the White records. Email the serial number which is on the slide with the patents and most likely she can put a date to it.
