Takes easy to get shuttles, bobbins needles and attachments (all available vintage and new). Finding replacement vintage parts is also easy.
From ISMACS - Similar to 127-12 but fitted with 'BY8', 'BY9', 'BZ8', or 'BZ9' add-on motor and spotlight, solid handwheel, no shuttle ejector; wrinkle finish with bed ornamentation #497 or #506. Intended for mounting in a bentwood portable case (portable). (Photo: Valerie Bradley) (BTW - I own one of these, and it's also got a lot of "Blackside" metal parts instead of nickel)
and the 127-12: Treadle. Wrinkle finish. No take-up lever cover. Intended for foot power. Spoked wheel; with shuttle ejector. (04/1941)
I paid $30 for mine but the bottom of the case was unglued and apart (but nothing busted or missing).
