Minor correction. 50,000 of them were ordered to be built on May 26th 1952. The production run lasted until the next listing of that model at that factory. Although looking up the AK series there is not a listing that I see after the May 26th of 1952

Thanks, the feed dogs dont lower very much, so I'll get some oil on it there. Pieced a little yesterday and it sewed like a champ. So happy my DIL saved it from being thrown out and brought Lily to me!
