2 pin type light bulb for class 15 clone?
I posted some pics the other day of the unusual light bulb fixture on a class 15 clone I have cleaned up to take to my daughter. I have since unwired it from the machine and I still don't know if something is missing from the fixture or if she takes a 2 pin light bulb rather than the usual bayonnet type.
I have been able to find a few sources for the 2 pin light bulbs but they are rather spendy compared to the bayonnet type so I am wondering if anyone else has a vintage class 15 clone that takes a 2 pin plug in bulb? The source that I have for these bulbs says that they are for New Home/Janome, Elna, and Kenmore.
If anyone has a machine that uses these bulbs could you take a pic of the bulb and the fixture for me so that I will know if this is all I need...or if the fixture is missing something...it doesn't look like it has been tampered with but there could be a plug in socket that got yanked out with a bulb and not put back in?????
The thread with the pics is here:

and if you scrolll almost to the bottom of this page, just past the photo of the gingher scissors is an illustration of the type of light bulb I am talking about

Thanks all for your help....should have looked closer at the bulb before now, and now I am scurrying to get this fixed to take to her this wknd!
