I'm a little late on today's mailcall. We received 3 packages today.
Earthwalker: Your block made it today! It's awesome and thanks for the extra fabric! I'll ask Miriam for ideas on it.
JudytheSewer: Your flower embroidery made it today and it's even prettier in person!
Maviskw: Not really quilt related but that hot pink fabric you gave Olivia is here today too. I'll have Olivia thank you herself tomorrow!
Thank you everyone! I think most of the blocks are here now although I do know of at least a couple more packages still out there.
I didn't get as much done today as I had hoped. Things were fighting me to the point it was better to just stop and give things a fresh start later. Tomorrow will be a better day.
Thanks again everyone!
Rodney

Rodney, where I live, it is almost tomorrow and let me assure you that the coming day will almost assuredly be a better day. Please, if you need help, let us know. We don't want you making yourself exhausted...too many bad bugs start floating around this time of year and theyy catch you if aren't careful. Get your rest; Ashlea knows that the quilt will be coming and anticipation is half of the fun. Again, tell us if you need help.

I will assure you, Ashlea is having fun waiting for and anticipating the quilt. I sent her a pieced tote bag for her birthday a week ago and it still hasn't gotten there. Trial balloon for the address I guess. This past week she has gained some movement and control of her left hand. She is walking ok, talking ok - no walker or chair. I think it is all the prayers.

The National Stroke Association recommends using the FAST acronym to help remember the warning signs of stroke
F = FACE: Ask the person to smile. Does one side of the face droop?
A = ARMS: Ask the person to raise both arms. Does one arm drift downward?
S = SPEECH: Ask the person to repeat a simple phrase. Does their speech sound slurred or strange?
T = TIME: If you observe any of these signs, call 9-1-1 immediately.
