Question Any White treadle cabinet owners?

The members of this board are wonderful for helping find answers. Could someone kindly post a photo of the inside hardware of their White treadle cabinet? One end of the cable was disconnected when I purchased mine. I can't intuitively figure out where the end of the cable connects to in order to support the machine in the raised position. I fear I might be missing a piece of cabinet hardware.

This is the cabinet my New Queen came in. She was made by White, so they may be the same.

As you can see, it's the weight of the flap that holds the machine up when open. The Machine is lifted automatically when the flap is opened.

you should find a hole in the back of the flap - a long screw goes in there.

That may be what you are missing.

see the screw end in between the railings? This is the back side of a different cabinet, but it has the same lift mechanism.

Ahh... that's it! Many thank yous to you Macybaby. My cable was looped around the pulley the wrong way and I hadn't noticed the scew hole on the edge of the lid. It looks like I'm also missing that tray that sits between the crossbar and the underside of the frame. Easy fixes, I think.
