    I had removed it for cleaning - good eye! JMiller told me about installing it so it lined up better with the wheel. Let me see if I have a pic of that.

    I got a rubber wheel for the winder at the local SMG shop. This was the "before" position and it was supposed to wind from the treadle belt - Joe had me move the winder over so it lines up with the handwheel now.

    MacyBaby: I deduce that I have a full size machine, although 13 inches wide doesn't seem very full size.

    Not QV, but I can answer that question . In your first set of pics, number 6 shows the winder fairly nicely. It is belt run off the balance wheel and takes long cylindrical bobbins. about 1/4 " by 1"

    ack late and wrong. yea, driven by a friction wheel , not the belt. I'll crawl back under my rock now.
