The machine looked so good I didn't even notice the bobbin winder was broken off. When I got home and started unpacking parts that came with it, there the broken part was... Anyone have a replacement 221 bobbin winder for sale?

I did a Google search on "Featherweight bobbin winder" and came up with several suppliers. Most sell it for around $30 or less.

Thanks... I did look online first and don't want to pay $30 for that little part. We have several repair people here as members. I'm hoping to find one more reasonably.

Send Glen an email at [email protected]. He has lots of parts for the featherweights. He is in Florida.

I have them for $20.95 plus shipping on my website: www.thequiltgal.com. Around $30 probably a vintage part.
They are easy to miss and often get broken.

Be sure that you keep a record of how you paid him. I ordered something from him and didn't get it when I thought it should have come. I e-mailed him and he had me check with my bank and get my returned check back from the bank and tell him just who it was that signed the check on the back. and it was him. THEN I got what I ordered. Only time I've had trouble with anything I've ordered. I won't order from him again because of the wait and trouble I went through proving that I did pay him in the first place!

Anybody can make a mistake... He has already shipped my item. Maybe a private pm would have been a nicer way for you to share your concern.
