Hi Joyce,
I have to go over to storage in the next few days anyway so I'll try to remember to grab the machine so I can check it out. If it works and can be cleaned up then no, sorry I won't but if it's a done for machine then I'll let you know. I can't remember if it has the extension table or not and I'll keep the case regardless as I have other Brother machines that could use it.

Joyce, I picked up my machine today. Mine is a 1681 so it's a little different. I'm going to keep it as it's not as bad as I remembered it being and it works. The lever knobs on mine are falling apart so I wouldn't be able to help you there anyway. Sorry I can't help you. BTW, for those who don't know, these machines were made in Korea in the 1980s.
