Those cabinets are in wonderful shape - and you have several hundered worth in drawers! I'm amazed the seller didn't figure out she could have made more money selling just the drawers than the machines.

Don't think I want to know what happened to the irons . . . but what a shame as they sure weren't "barn stored" machines that were used.

I would love a New Home in a treadle cabinet like that. Especially with the cool raising mechanism.
I'm happy to see you plan to put legs under the cabinets again. They're too nice to waste. I'm almost finished restoring a Singer cabinet that was in worse shape than what I've seen in your haul.

Wow. When I first started reading your post I was picturing cabinets for electrics for some reason and couldn't understand why someone would cut the legs off and keep them. My ijit moment for the day.

thank you all. i guess i am so lucky. seller has this ad on and off since june and i was really surprised that no one took a bite or at least inquired about it. maybe they got misled by the ad as it says - sewing machine cabinet parts. got brave enough to asked if there was a machine in there. at first she had a price listed on the ad but a week ago she changed it to FREE. now the hunt for iron legs is on......PM me if anyone has spare or something.

Boy I don't see anything wasted nor ruined ..

    I'd be as happy as a >>*****

this last month I decided to go ahead pickup / buy any treadle stands I found a decent price on, ended up with three. Those look like a screw them on and use them deal or close to that.

in time you'll find stands for those. The ol rusted up stand clean up real nice, if it wasn't for rust I would have any .
