I also have the second plastic green box that holds the attachments, a light bulb and screwdriver. Also have the Manual.

What model is it? Can you scan the manual? I see the wide straight stitch foot. Sigh, I'm missing that foot on one of my most special machines.

I will try and get the model # off of my machine if not later this evening, tomorrow for sure. What part of the manual are you looking for? I will also check to see if I may have a short shank straight stitch foot that might fit your machine. What is your machines model #?

I actually have more cam sets than I do machines that take them. Here's something that will keep you guessing- Brother made machines that take cams, but there's no cam door or other obvious place to put them. Where do they go?

Cari
So do you want them? I'm thinking that's a no.

Think again, lol. I almost never turn down Brother parts. Assuming that postage won't cost me my first born, I don't think she'd like that much. <VBG>

I'm not looking for any specific part of the manual, just if it isn't one I have I'd like to have a copy of it.
As for the foot, thanks but I'm being a bit picky about this one. It has to be a Brother wide straight stitch foot for a center needle zig zag machine. The machine is a fairly rare one and is special so I want to keep everything as original as possible.

Cari,

This is my machine a Brother/Bradford badged model # 1641A that the above Cams I listed are for this machine and maybe they would fit some of the other Brother machines as well. I am the original owner of this machine. It sits in a cabinet.

What model is yours?

I have around a dozen Brother machines, from a 1954 straight stitch clone up to a 70's(I think) Mademoiselle. Some 1950s machines, a few early 1960s. Only two or three that I have take cams. One has built in cams for 30 stitches.

I don't think I have ever seen a Brother with built in cams for stitches? Can you post some pictures of your Brother Machine with the built in cams.
