Default Looking for manual or equivalent model.

Hello,
'I also have this Canadian Kenmore Sewing machine model C877.781, I am too looking for a manual or the equivalent in an American model, if someone could please send me the equivalent model number or where to go for a manual that would be great. Also was wondering if this would be a good machine to keep for sewing handbags that are made with vinyl or leather. Thank you.

Yes, this is the machine and it is the same one that I am looking to get information on, if possible a manual.

As far as I've been able to figure out by seeing pictures of the Canadian Kenmores, the US Kenmores are not anything like them. To find a manual for a Canadian Kenmore you're better off looking for a US imported Japanese badged machine. For example, the C877.781 looks an awful lot like a Dressmaker here in the states.

I just got this one on the weekend. It is a C877.66 with a 9 stamped over the last six! It's a zig zag with a JA6 stamped underneath so from Japan. Motor is made in Canada by "SMP" shoe machine parts ltd. Toronto Canada. Says Simpson Sears Canada. The number is close to yours but I wasn't having any luck with finding info for the original belt. Is there a resource for badged machines made in Japan? They would mostly be the same with a different stamp??
