Your work looks pretty good so far Steve. It's an interesting machine with a dubious past. What a conversation piece!

update... The paint is almost ready. One more pass with a block and polishing compound to finish smoothing the surface and we are ready for decals.

Thanks, painting is not my forte, but I am learning slowly...

On the last pass, I used the foam sanding blocks with the original sandpaper removed and replaced with 5000 grit wet or dry. (it needs the same after this paint coat) (The tacks are a good idea!, thanks)

This machine has a specific purpose so Black was the only option, but yes. I have a couple of old machines that will need a repaint and I may just git a little creative with one...

yep, that could have been the manual for what I have done so far.

I left my supplies at work so no sanding last night... I did get a BUNCH of web programming done while remoting into my work computer to resolve a network issue...

alright.... I was doing the final polish and went through to primer..... grrrrr.

Another coat is required now..

While I was in a fit of despondency, my DD made a suggestion to me that I just ran with.

Since it is a "Fake" anyway here goes.
I think it will look great with the Gold Singer 9w decals..
