That's exactly why it remains in storage (and I couldn't photograph the coffin top); I can't bring myself to move anything out that I use so I can replace it with something pretty that I probably won't use.

I've seen both fiddle base and rectangular base machines in coffin tops - here's hoping it's a nice fiddle base for you!

And then you'll most likely have a machine that your Singer puzzle box was meant for!

Hmmm, I've got a 127, I thought it fit that .....

And I'd love a fiddle base machine.
