Default Considering buying a Pfaff 2030 from 1999

I'm thinking of buying a Pfaff 2030. I have an older Pfaff 2160 from 1993 and love it. The 2030 is a few years newer and is computerized. Does anyone have this machine? I would love to know what you think of it and if there's any problems to watch out for. Thanks

I have the 2056 computerized and LOVE it. You can't beat the IDT, needle up/down, and auto presser foot. It also has a few handy quilt specific stitches. I haven't had any problems re: motherboard...I take it in for yearly service.

I have a 2030 and I love it. The only downside is you can't get parts for it. Mine broke the plug in from the main computer thingy and my husband had to solder it back together. Works great now.

I have the 2044 and love it, it has been a hard working, forgiving, machine. JB
