Speaking of which - this 15-91 popped up today for $200. I do like that scroll work though :-)

I have the identical machine and table, with a brown leather cover on the seat though. Your machine is absolutely beautiful! It doesn't appear to have been used at all. It was a steal for $50.

I restored my table using denatured alcohol. I only did the top... after evening out the shellac I used briwax and now it looks like it did back when it was made. The brown leather cover is still on the bench but I placed a suede cover over it. I love the 15-91, it's a wonderful machine.

    Wow Christine!
If it started out like the one above you did a spectacular job!

Good looking machine and great price. Apparently she didn't know you were you.

And, lucky you. Right now I am working to get a 15 91 potted motor running on mine. My machine is just as pretty and worthy as yours appears to be, in a beautiful cabinet (one of those 4-legged ones), so I won't give up on this effort. A friend has offered me $250 for it; but I am not over the "I'm keeping this one" thought yet on this one.

Good deal! I've had very good and very bad deals on CL. Once I borrowed a gas pig truck and drove 85 miles to pick up a lovely parlor cabinet at a designated time only to be told someone else called and picked it up 20 min before I got there. Stood there with my mouth open, but almost lost it when I was told "you snooze- you lose". Just went home and sulked over $55 in wasted gas and 3 hours.

    That's terrible.
I - on occasion - have had success offering a PayPal deposit if I can't get there at the speed of light.
