    It's beautiful and they made wonderful sewing machines. The transverse shuttle is interesting - I don't have any transverse machines in my collection. If the decals were better, I would buy this one.

    I passed one up about five years ago with darn near perfect japanning, nickel plating and decals and I've been kicking myself for it ever since.

    For the reasons that thepolyparrot gave. I don't think the decals are all that bad, and the price is decent. The main reason? I don't have one!
