I polished the hand wheel today at lunch!
Here is the hand wheel after polishing next to the fixture I built to hold it in the lathe

but worth it...
Here she is after the first cleaning pass..
This is the first set of Singer irons like this I have had that have the original goldwork
The Velcro straps are holding it together while the glue sets, the whole front panel could come off the glue was so shot, But she cleaned up really nice.
