Default Do you know the model # of this Brother Machine?

I have a Operation Manuel for a vintage Brother machine...but it doesn't say what model or year. Can anyone identify it from this picture? Thanks!

I don't think this machine is vintage or what I would consider vintage. That's nice of you to offer it to a good home.

This is interesting...I agree that it doesn't seem vintage...does 1995 seem like the right date? I was just looking at the warranty that is inside the manual and it has a contest on one page that was good from 1994-1996.

when my sister passed my brother in law gave me her machine, it was still in the box and never opened. I noticed where she purchased it from and knew that it was an older model, it is an XR-31. Other than where the book shows the knobs , mine has dials on top they look close to the same. I would contact Brother and see if i could find out from them what model # the book represents.

While in Fl in winters I work with the super Kids club and on Fri afternoons sometimes we sew. I do some maintenance on their machines which I have helped collect. There is this same Brother in the collection and I am surre we don't have a manual. It would be put to good use if you would pass it on to me. I can give you Fl address
where to mail it if you would. Sure would be appreciated and if not needed I will can come back here to pass on to someone else. I have been disappointed with brother a few times even though I am very happy with the machines.
Super Kids Club-non profit - has website but don't have it handy as carpet cleaners coming in few min .
