    your room is awesome! Do you and your wife sew together? My DH wants to learn but with yard work and bb sitin the gk's we just haven't found the time.

    Nope! Janice supports me in whatever endeavor I might peruse at the moment. Her mom many yrs. ago did a lot of sewing, but nothing rubbed off.

    That is a fabulous display. The room looks huge and it is the neatest, cleanest sewing room I have ever seen. wow!

    I'm not too sure about the flying sewing machine idea. Just something about 40 lbs of cast iron floating around overhead makes me nervous.

    Well I have lived my entire life in earthquake country, so all those machines up on that shelf makes a part of ME nervous! I think I'd be fine with hanging machines overhead, as long as I was fairly confident they'd been hung by the ceiling joists and not just molly-bolted into the sheetrock. Though it'd be a little scary to be in there during an earthquake anyway - would be horrifying if the hanging machines started swinging into each other!
