I've put the bobbin case from the non finicky featherweight into the finicky one. No more thread jumping out of the bobbin case, and no more skipped stitches. I think I am fixed! I will order a new bobbin case for Miss Finicky. Thank you everyone, for your assistance!

Get either a original bobbin case or see if you can find the spring itself and swap that. Most people don't like the reproduction cases. Glenn Williams in Florida will have an original, might be able to help you with the tension spring too. http://pages.suddenlink.net/joyof301s/glenn.htm

I just ordered a replacement spring. I will try swapping it out before looking for a new bobbin case.
