Are these machines worth a lot more that the regular badge ones...?

Can the black paint be touched up at all? and does this damage (on the bottom right corner) devalue the machine a lot?

I would like to know before I buy?

    How much would you offer?

If it were me, I wouldn't pay much more of a premium for a red S - can't see why. Yes, the paintwork can be touched up, you can find Billy here Lostn51, or on the vintage machine thread, go to the bottom of the page, click on Topic lists, and scroll right down.

It all boils down to what they want, and how much you are prepared to pay. Have you checked the going prices on ebay?

Can't touch a FW for under 200 on ebay...trust me I've tried. Paint loss isn't on the machine part and could be hidden if tabled...So value wise I'd say it wouldn't devalue it by much

FWs usually aren't tabled, as they are enclosed bottom for sitting directly on any table top, and sometimes that paint loss means aluminum rot. You can get instructions on how to stop the rot, if that's what it is. Be careful...it can progress so that the paint peels off in strips.

FWs are going for around $250 on eBay and other auctions right now, plus or minus depending on accessories & condition.
