I also have a 301A. Maybe we could start a club for those, huh?

I got my Featherweight last summer and just love it. Now my quilting friends all want one so I am on the lookout for them.

I want to join! I definitely qualify...started out just wanting a white one but couldn't find her. So, I settled for a 1947 black one. Then someone said you should have one for your own birthyear; hence the 1949 one. Then I found a white one on the Goodwill auction site. Thought I was finished then. Oh, but then the Centennial was a good price one night on ebay. About six months ago, I found a 222 on ebay and emailed the owner about a lower price. So, I now own 5 of them. I'm definitely through buying!!!

I love them all. I have five of them, but had only intended to buy 1 in the beginning. I would probably sell one or two, but wouldn't just give it away. I alternate which ones I take to workshops.

I guess I just fell in love with them!!

I have a 1941 221 that I got on ebay. It looks like it had never been used, and sews like a dream. Just finished piecing my first OBW on her.

I have a 221 and love it. Runs smoothly and I enjoy it so much for piecing quilts. It also doesn't eat your fabric as you begin to sew as my other machines do. I paid 265.00 for it about 6 months ago which is not cheap but acceptable to me. Wouldn't give it up for twice that amount now.

I was given the advice on the Vintage Machine Board by someone who lives in Australia, that Nilodor will help get rid of a musty smell in the case of my FW. Any ideas where I would buy Nilodor in the U.S. or Canada?
