Singer 322 is a featherweight model, that I hope to have running soon.

Just Google Singer 322 power cord. I found several places to check out when I did.

    gazzo50 is it possible it's a mistype and you've got a 222 or a 221? I've never seen a 322 and while I might have missed it I think I'm right that there isn't a FW with that number?

If you've got a 222 congrats they are even rarer then a 221...if you've got a 221 they are wonderful little workhorses. I've had mine for about 10 yrs and love it for piecing, tho I didn't care for the way it worked with my zig zag attachment and a lap sized fleece backing. I will try it with other, less thick material tho.

The 322 is a plastic wonder, not one of our wonderful vintage Featherweights. I finally googled it so I could see it.

Ah, thanks, it's not a FW that I'm familiar with. Gee, how many new machines are they calling FW? Couldn't they at least use FW II or some designation so we know what it is????

I have a 221 that I use all the time and goes with me to classes. I bought her on eBay and met the family who's mother had owned her. They were nice enough to refund the shipping since I lived nearby and picked it up.

I also have a 222 that is not used much, but I love her too. She is actually wired for use in the US.

They get used more than my Pfaff.

Technically, I think the 221 & 222 weren't originally called 'Featherweights' - that was a name people called them and got picked up. The 322 was designated a Featherweight by the company from the beginning. It does make things confusing if you are looking for a 221 or 222 and see 'Featherweight' advertised - you really need to see pictures to know what you are getting.
