baskets4moo: thanks for the pictures. I like the idea of a bag for the foot as mine seems to be too tightly squeezed on the end to fit in the tray.
tartan: I really like the idea of putting the cover under the pressure foot, I haven't thought or heard of that idea. I actually have plans to make a bag and sleeve but am waiting for a merchant to come up from Yuma with a leather needle as I decided I would like leather on the bottom so I can set it down when taking it to classes.

Mine doesn't. but I don't use my FW, and I have been very careful when I have put it into the case. My 301 long bed is almost 1/2" from the body when raised. That being said I have plans to make a cover for my 301 long bed -- just in case.
