that sweet little flap!

on the back, in that greasy dust is an etched name and number. Remember when that was all the rage? You can see it on the corner of the post. I think it says Sheri
I'm so happy.
Thank you for being happy to!

and I googlized my brain and the machine pops right out of the cradle. How cool
Even the oil drip felt smells good.

I just opened the accessory box, which turned out to be the buttonholer and cams? I think

but to top it off there was a $500.00 dollar bill in there.

Just kidding..

We will promptly be going to Cranbrook Canada...do you want to meet somewhere?
make me a barter I can't refuse...

Actually I just came back to say, I know the 301A numbers aren't 1951, but '53 and on, but I was born in '51 so that's my story and I'm sticking to it.
I wish I could hug you all just for being here. I'm caring for my 89 year old mom w/advanced dementia...it can be really trying around here.

Ahaha! You GOT me! I was so caught up in your exciting find, I would have believed anything. That is a sweet table - very pretty! The 301?? Fabulous! and you hardly ever see them in the black. The black seems to be the big favorite on color so you are extra blessed. And you want to let it go? Are you crazy? If you are loving your 404, you will love the 301 and it will be even lighter weight so better for your back! If one goes on the fritz for any reason and has to be in the shop you will have a wonderful back up!. And then it was half price day?? Wow. What a wonderful find! Lucky you! *I'm so jealous.heehee

I laughed out loud at your $500 bill remark; sitting here fogged in reading I thought to myself "I didn't know $500 came in one solid bill" then saw your "Just kidding" remark. Thanks for a fun read today, and everyone is right about the 301. You might do well to learn to like it. I have three and absolutely love all three of them too much to consider parting with one. But I don't have a 404 so I can't say that with a lot of credence.
