    Thank you, but I really don't feel that I deserve any special credit here. A succession of people guarded this machine like it was their child for more than 140 years.. THAT is the amazing part. All I did was use gentle and respectful cleaning to remove the "patina". Some collectors feel that I have ruined the value of this machine because of that removal. I could care less. I respect the machine, not the "market value".....

    interesting thought to consider. When you collect a machine you are becoming it's caretaker. do YOU feel that you will do as well protecting the machine as all of the folks before you did? I worry about that.

    I've never seen a machine like this that still has all of the decals. You've done a lovely job restoring her!

    She sure doesn't show her age! I can't believe the decals are in such great shape. Good think it has a forever home with a great caretaker.....
