    Default First mechanical job-I still smell oil, goop, and polish...

    but Pauline is shining and ready to go!! This machine was a local lady's grandma's sewing machine and she sewed wedding dresses and draperies on it. I saw it at an antique shop for $89.oo. She was in pretty good shape, just dirty. Took her all apart and cleaned and polished and put her back together, then went over her cabinet which is in exellent condition. I wish it were my grandma's, but I am delighted and can't wait to learn to sew on a treadle.
