Even knowing where to look, it is hard to see. The light has to hit it just right. It is the same color as the bed and stamped in the metal and then painted.

Thank you! I found it with the aid of a flashlight. If it had been a snake it would have bit me. I found out she is a NC135732, made in 1961. The same year as me. She has Elizabeth NJ on the side but the chart I looked on said Anderson SC.
