I don't know what the prices on the two spool machines run. I inherited one from my husband's great-grandmother, and it's complete, i.e., the cannister is there. I've seen those cannisters start out on ebay for $300! That's beyond my purse. I have the cannister in a container with a lid on it in my sewing desk! I have some work to do on the cabinet and on the head (shellac to protect the decals) Anyway, good luck on finding a two-spool!

10x the price on the one I saw was $189 before tax. I don't have that kind of $ but the wood on the cabinet and the decals on the machine were in really nice shape. It also had the spool can. It was worth every penny. If I had the money I would have posted about it after I brought it home. I hope the person that bought it enjoys it as a sewing machine instead of as just a nice plant stand.

The gentleman contacted me and pushed up the day from Wednesday to today. So...this evening my DH picked up the machine. Right now the cabinet/treadle is in the back of the car swaddled with blankets, but the machine itself is in the house. I brought it upstairs so we could bond.
You know where this is heading right?

Compared to the pictures posted here, my Two Spool and its cabinet are in excellent condition. The table, I know, needs cleaning and the irons need to be bead-blasted and painted. It's old, but it hasn't been abused! It probably has 75-80% of its decals and the machine is about 100 years old (This is a Guess!).
