    The Japanese made Kenmores of the 60's and early 70's are excellent, 148 and 158 model prefixes. Good inexpensive SM.

    I also have a Pfaff 130 that was my mother's. I retreaved it a few weeks ago from storage. Sad to say it's all gumed up. As I recall as a kid, I sewed with it a lot. It did fancy stitches. You had to set your A and B levers and stitch with for the ?ig-?ags. As you might already notice, my _eeeeee doesn't work on my keyboard. LOL I'm going to restore it.
