Gifted a Singer 66 for rescue
#11
The first step is finished. The only things that needed replacing were the needle and the rubber wheel on the bobbin winder. Tested with a hand crank and is sewing very well. Now I need to move on to painting the irons (not today 117 degrees on my patio). Does anyone have any suggestions as to what I can use for a top in place of the missing cabinet?

I have to say this about the Vintage Sewing Machines - you just can't kill them unless you shoot them. My vehicle is a very nice (old) 1997 Lincoln Town Car, and my neighbor told me I'd never be able to kill it unless I shot it! Well, the car has 225,000 miles on it now and it's still going strong!
