Sorry Christy, It was a quick glance. I could see it being a 60s machine, the badge is real, not the "sticker" I thought it was at the mach 5 glance. The feed dog control on the bed is very Japanese, and it even looks like a JA- number under the bed. Perhaps there were some early nostalgia type machines? I seem to remember someone telling me they got one in the 60s and I thought, no, that's a 70's / 80s machine because of the feed dog control. I can't remember what the dial was made of then though. The 15 is still made for some markets IIRC.

In other news, who do you suppose made this? It has an unusual look to it, I want to say Necchi... ? Elna?

Ahh the mach 5 glance lol! I getcha! Yes my new 15 has a drop feed knob on the bed, but serial number says it's legit!

I would say the same..reminds me of the Necchi Lydia? but blockier. I can't tell if I love it or hate it!

A picture of the machine would have been nice....although, I probably would have bought this one sight unseen if it was in my area.

It does have a Necchi look to it. Maybe it's a badged Necchi in the same way they badged the Logica for Kenmore?

$1200 and they only show two pictures of the treadle (from behind) no pics of the machine or the front...
