I had a Singer 24 and I could never figure out how to thread it, and the needles aren't common. The machine looks good, but that motor, foot pedal, and light are add-ons, as it normally goes in a treadle cabinet.. Not even sure where, or to what, they would have mounted the motor for it to work.

I dodge special needle machines. The industrial one is enough. I'll pass, someone else get this one.

ummm, they were available like this.... don't have the time to dig it up, but I've got the manual for the electric version somewhere.

These are the Singer equivalent of the Willcox & Gibbs Automatic

Yep, I have singer 24-50 and a manual. It uses the 24X1 needles and organ needle co. still makes them. Not hard to get. Makes a wonderful chain stitich.

I have agonized over that one since it was listed but I just don't like coffin tops! Tell you what, I can get it closer to you I can drive up to Redding and pick it up for you if it is still available ( my whole family lives there so I will just go shopping and take my mom out to lunch as I always do, it is no biggie to include a sewing machine pick up and you can pay me $125.00 when I deliver it to you at Granzellas. That gives me a little for gas. If this sounds good to you PM me.
