One of Singer's prettier electric cabinets under the paint job.

At least the price is somewhere in reality. Have you seen the painted twin Martha Washington cabinets that have been on CL lately?

I'm tempted to buy this one just to finally remove it from CL:

S/he's been trying to sell it ever since I started trolling the site. I like it, though I'd probably only pay $50.

Yep, just a couple of thread spool racks. If they were full of thread, that would be one thing, but they aren't, so it isn't.

Display items are neat but the price is way too high on those ones, especially since they have such limited use.

KRA that Brunswick is pretty nice, $50 seems reasonable to me, I'm betting after weeks of no offers they'll accept (maybe start at $40). They've had time to realize old sewing machines really aren't great money makers.

There are a few machines locally that have been advertised for a year that I know of. The $10 Kenmore in Olympia is back as of yesterday. I'm half tempted just so I don't see the ad anymore.

Yes, the display racks would be worth it if they were full, but no way empty.

I like the looks of that Wards machine.

I've thought the same thing about that Kenmore, but I already have two that I haven't gotten around to.

Seems like a great deal to me, but then again I'm a rust addict.
