    that's exactly the damage I picture when I think of a machine being transported hanging like a bat in its cabinet. I wonder if it is what happened.

    I'm shocked they're even trying to sell it. Too bad, it's a nice style of desk.

    People buy them screw the top down or replace the top and paint them then use them for something other than a sewing machine.

    I got to see a hemstitcher like that up close at the Toga. It's big, it's burly, an Egor machine for sure.

    not sure what to say about this one . . .

    if they hadn't painted it, that hand crank without the machine would have sold for more than this "re purposed" gem.

    It looks to be a Singer 28 . . .
