Rodney same here on the finances. take the machine in salem. Thats a $40 drive for me, even to get to a place to buy food is a $20 drive.

That machine need a refinish on the cabinet, so say thats $30 in materials. Turns into a $90 machine plus a quality belt is $12. so that 20$ deal, just turned into $102. between Portland and Medford. This summer til now I've seen 4 lotus's no counting this $475 thing .. I say thing because it's a Mutt.

Rocking chairs weren't meant to be used with a treadle - but the open arm ones were made for sitting at and sewing by hand.

I don’t have a rocking chair around anymore, or I’d try it myself just to see what it was like. I’ll have to look in the shed and see if I still have that old hammock....

I treadle with just my right foot, so I’ve been getting by using a stool on wheels at my Singer 31-15 treadle in the bike shop without any problems. I just got a new mechanics stool on wheels that I’m going to try at my Singer 319W in the sewing room....

yes it is. And a pretty early one at that. uncommon decals. If I did not already have one complete treadle and a head I am trying to part with, I'd be all over that.. hehe
