if you really think you have something rare and unusual, you could at least take halfway decent pictures of it. . .
I stopped at "Pre singer sewing machine".

Not for giggles, but a very unusual machine on that auction site that will probably sell for the price. I’ve never seen one of these, and I doubt that I will see many more. It’s a Singer 29K71 Centennial on a Singer Convertible Straight Leg Stand.

The stand is the most interesting to me. I wish I knew if it came from Singer, or was assembled with parts from other stands. It appears that the foot pedal is a replacement and the 2-piece treadle pitman rod and crank has been removed, but everything else appears to be there to switch between treadle and electric power.

That is unusual. I don't know if it's original or not either but it looks good and the price seems very realistic to me.
Boot patchers are usually pretty high priced around here.

It would look really cool next to my regular convertible industrial treadle, but alas....

I already have two boot patchers, and this one’s far away in Virginia. I saved the photos of it so that I can drool on my keyboard now and then.

Cathy; There are quite a few of those rare antique vintage Singers on that site now with bad photos and high prices. Thanks for the laugh.

???? What's so special about that one? It doesn't appear to be solid gold.

The seller must be trying something very dishonest there, or they think people who sew are complete morons. Also, there was no model 309K.

He found it in an attic?

    And...

Put it in a dungeon to take the pictures?
