    They pulled that number out all right, I don't think from the same end a hat goes on.

    That's the total of every single part and piece they priced separately. Typical of some estate dealers. The parts are worth more than the whole.

    here we go, this has to be the deal of the year.. A true 1871 singer sewing machine, for the low asking price of $300. ( cause they looked it up on the net, no doubt )

    I did even bother looking up the number.

    The color of red is a kinda sorta give away. aaaaaaaaaa give or take 20 years or so, There all the same.

    I've always wonder why this won't put a sticking in, listing serial numbers by year and model numbers

    “Serial # 62552204”

    I’d say that should be “G2552204”, which would make it a 1912 machine.....

    I did. Also looked at the actual serial number. They have read the F as a 6. It's (obviously) a 66-1 and is from 1912.
    EDIT: CD, I thought a G as well, but on inspection of the image it looks like an F.
