this is terrible caught in the middle

    $50 FW to the south

$25 treadle to the north. I'd buy that treadle sight unseen, all I know it's not a singer

You could ask them to send you a pic of the machine head. Go with the unknown, I'm curious to see what is under that lid!

IF someone could afford this, is $500 reasonable? I can't possibly get it, but the cabinet is so pretty and I love the scenic decal on the base. Just seems really expensive...

It is, in my opinion, at the upper end of reasonable. I would try to get it lower but if it were closer or I did not already have a low arm

Yes, if it were closer, I would go see it...and could be tempted to make an offer. Sigh...back to trying to clean decals.

Also, Featherweights seem to be really high in NH - $600. So if I could find someone who wanted to trade a fabulous old machine, I'd be all set. Except for the six hour drive, that is.

It looks like they are just keeping it safe there. It is missing on the needle bar. It really helps if one knows how to sew when one is trying to sell a machine for sewing..

Hilarious. Unfortunately, I don't know anything about the ancient Sumerian city of Ur.
