    Did their cousin, who owns some kind of sewing machine, do the appraisal? Hope they included the cost of the "appraisal" in the sales price ....

    But yes, Tammi is right...... And they don't care. And someone who buys an antique sewing machine without doing research deserves what they get. JMO.

    I know of two Martha Washington cabinet that will get chalk painted, then used as display tables in a store. but they are painted now. believe it or not, this will be saving them.

    White had some of the coolest designs out there IMO.

    Agreed. That is one cool machine. I love the slide plate design and the waterfall casting on the column. Very Art Deco.
