Steve they're probably too new for you. The Redeye in the parlor cabinet is in great shape. The cabinet has some great wood in the top too. If I wanted a Redeye that would be the one to get. I've seen more parlor cabinets in my area than I have the Trapezoid cabinets, that's why I showed that one. The 306 isn't bad either.

I don't need any cabinets - I only want the machine - whoever picks it up can keep the cabinet LOL!!

Ohh, they were cool, but like you said too late for me. (Although the first Sewing Machine I restored was a 1922 Red Eye in a 5 drawer treadle)

What do you suppose this seller's up to? 2 ads that say "I can fix anything" - surgers included and one that says "Help, we need a sewing machine fixed!"

Maybe I can call and offer the price this 'model' would have sold for as new.

Oh that is comedy gold. Make sure that is not your neighbor who was doing wrong and awful things to an industrial machine before. :P

And is that a regular incandescent light bulb? I can't even imagine the pain of touching that one by accident when I lift the presser foot lever!

Yup. That's a regular light bulb. I'm really curious about how the back of that machine looks. It's the custom touches like that that have the price so high. Not a bad looking machine. It's just not an $850 machine.
