    Now this is a leather sewing machine to admire. Raw free standing power. Not a Singer 29 either although I know we love those around here.

    This gnomezilla machine (a little godzilla) sold on local Craigslist a few months ago for $30.
    There's one on eBay right now for $30 alone or $55 with attachments.

    That room looks showroom perfect behind it. Which look warned me there was going to be some price padding even past the appropriate cost of a perfectly restored and shining machine. I was not ready for that much padding though.

    That is a worse background for price padding than the "I broke into an apartment for rent, the carpet is fresh deep vacuumed and the room is empty otherwise, the cabinet is barn fresh" background to some photos.
