I just laughed when I read his response, I thought it was another typo.

Wasn't someone here looking for a singer 29-4? This one is only 15 miles from me, and includes a seat.

Not unique or rare either. At that price they'll have it for a long time.

What a great link to post in all those threads where some genius asks, "I have this old Singer/Whatever and want to sell it but don't know what it's worth...."

I think I'll post that link and say, "I think they got robbed - they could have gotten at least DOUBLE that!" (Yes, I see it did not 'close' but the type of moron that runs around posting such questions is obviously too ignorant or too lazy to use ebay to get a feel for 'going rates.')

A good deal on a Silver Singer 15. They were only made for 1 or 2 years.

    This one is just sad.
A local Portland department store sold this brand way back when. Sorry I don't remember which store, or which manufacturer of the machine.
Now the legs are attached to a cheap piece of what appears to be printed countertop material. Yuck.

I saw a listing on e-bay for a Singer 15-91 in a cabinet -- they were asking $1,000, but I think some's either been smoking wacky weed or drinking an excess of Colorado Kook Aid (Coors Beer!) I went back to look for the listing and could not find it today, that's okay -- We got a laugh out of it, either over the price or over my ignorance! I just think that price is way TOO HIGH!
