I'm mentioning my domestic situation in another thread, this is out of the question right now. But this 29-3 is in pretty good shape, isn't it? NOK 2000 is around $230.

I think it's a great price. That's the 3rd patcher I've seen here in two days.

That is actually a Singer UFA (Universal Free Arm) the predecessor to the 29-4 series. VERY nice and a GREAT price.

Thanks Steve! I know there were some visual differences. I didn't know it was the older of the two.
I've never needed to sew leather in my life but I would still like one.

They got plastic wonder right, but not vintage - https://www.google.com/imgres?imgurl...bjQCA&tbm=isch or http://www.rockler.com/sewing-machine-lift-mechanism (not sure which one works.)

Janey - Neat people never make the exciting discoveries I do.

Not a giggle - Anyone need treadle parts? They may be thinking "yard art" but we know better! - send an email - maybe they have what you are looking for

The first looks like a National Expert B.T. made for Montgomery Wards. I own a complete one that I need to finish rewiring.
The second, I'm not sure the make but it had some very delicate lines and I would have liked it better still as a machine.
