That would be true if it was the model New Family built by Singer. This one is a Brand called New Family?

I don't know that I've ever seen a Singer with that see saw bit on the top of the arm.
Yeah - that's the technical term

    Here's another one who's confused:

    "Singer Anniversary Edition Sewing Machine"
I have NO idea where they got that...

'Stradivarious' is sort of like Singer clones - it was put on a lot of violins but not the real deal. There are only a few violins made by Stradivarious and they are in vaults - they won't come up on CL any time soon IMHO. My son worked in a violin shop for a few years.

This sewing machine & cabinet belonged to my great-grandmother. A lot of the smaller pieces of the machine are missing (bobbins, etc), but the machine itself is in its original cabinet complete with treadle. The cabinet might require some refinishing (or not). Given its age, it is in pristine condition.
It should be worth what we're asking, but MAKE AN OFFER!!! It needs a good home.

Ha ha ha - they must have sold all the attachments on EBAY

Not giggilly per se but I had not heard of this Stradivaro Sewing Machine (with cams) before and the first picture was surely taken in the dark.

Made me think of the "rare" Stradivarius violin mentioned above.

seems over priced for machines that are basically parters.
