I thought I'd show off a find from this past winter. It was at a thrift shop for $20. The sewing desk has faaabulous storage, and I added nails on the inside to hold rulers, templates, scissors, manuals, etc. I put my 201-3 in it and it's tucked into a corner of my living room. When it's closed, it looks like a normal piece of furniture.

The doors on the outside aren't that spectacular though. My husband is going to make new doors for me in his woodshop. That's why one of the doors is missing. The door panel you see now are those molded plastic inserts they used back in the 70s.

The blue fabric on the bottom is for the cat.

It is in a desk and it came with the stool. I'll get a picture tomorrow.

I already have a Centennial 15-91, but the goodies being sold with this one are pretty nice. What are your thoughts on the price?
That is more than I would pay, but it isn't outrageous. Don't know how prices run in your area, though.

It is always good to get the matching stool with the cabinet, and the Singercraft guide and the Pinker have some added value.

I caved and bought this today. I'll let you know if it works later.
Great score. What was the other machine they had?

Something newer. I think it was a Touchtronic. But I've never seen one before so I'm not 100%.

They actually had $85 on it when I was in the room, not the $50 she had on the listing. Tomorrow it's 50% off.

    They are ALL Singers.

I always get a giggle out of saying it's a black White.
