Default Giving by Sewing

A friend sent this to me. Giving by sewing is my title for it.

He is using a wonderful old treadle!

What a wonderful idea and following through on it. You are getting stars in your crown. We all should quit thinking of ourselves and think and help others.

What a great idea. Wonder if we couldn't spread that across the country.

Love how generosity of spirit, practicality and grass-roots counselling/mental health all melds into one when stellar individuals give of themselves like this. Brilliant.

Wonder if one could set up in a library or community building and offer use of a sewing machine to anyone who wanted to mend or sew?? There is real possibility in this idea!

Nice thought, but I think your Insurance Agent may change your mind. Sewing for someone, versus allowing someone to use your machine (possibly untrained), are two very different things.

Getting back to basics is a real trend in many parts of the country. I love it!
