Congrats on the wedding and the Golf!! The setting is beautiful and the wedding outfits just seem to compliment it.
    Enjoy each day together!

You mean T.A.R.D.I.S.! (Dr. Who nerds, REPRESENT!) My car happens to be TARDIS colored. But mine is NOT larger on the inside, feels like just the opposite in fact!

I guess I have no clue how small a treadle can be compacted! They seem huge to me, but I have actually seen very few in person, and never sewn on one much less taken one apart! I'm leading a sheltered life.

Steve and Heather Congratulations on your marriage! That's a beautiful wedding photo.

Sewnoma: Singer treadles break down quite small. The wood is all screwed together and breaks down pretty flat except the drawers. The irons break down pretty flat too.

Congratulations on your marriage and your safe return! Nice photo and although not Victorian, certainly different and attractive!

Rodney - that's smart that they designed them that way, and it makes sense now that I'm actually thinking about it. Shipping treadles around by train and horse-drawn wagon...they had to have been "compactable".

And the sad part is that they did not compact them to ship... (This photo is from 1903)

Good that you got back safe and sound although a bit tired I would imagine. Great photo of you two. You both look happy and that's what counts .... although I was so looking forward to the original outfits photo. Maybe you could finish yours in the near future and take another photo? Just saying ..... The background for the photos was spectacular also. I suppose that you will be staying home for a bit unless that perfect machine turns up and you have to go pick it up!!!

They even left the drawers behind.
