So..... Now the real question is Would YOU drive 13 hours round trip in one day (we came home Saturday night) for the privilege of buying this for $250??

    As I unloaded it...

    Steve,

I have one of those on my W&W #3 (see the red arrow). I believe I read that it is a thread lube. It attaches to the needle bar and holds oil in it's wick.

Absolutely that a 13 hour road trip is well worth to purchase that sewing machine. I am envying the fact that she still has her glass feet. Guard those with your life as they are nigh on impossible to find. Unless, hint, hint, you can fabricate replicas.

Well, the Original reason for the trip was this machine, which we picked up first.

Magic is they both rode home in the trunk of a Saturn...

Never seen one with the maker badge in the bonnet/coffin top
